3 Year Old Class

These are areas we will touch throughout the school year along with new ideas developed by your child’s teacher. The children will be given the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace but will be encouraged and guided to try all activities going on in the classroom. We look forward to sharing and growing with your child.

Goals and Skills Your Child Will Learn

  • Language Arts

    Memorizing and repeat simple rhymes, songs, and finger plays; Use I, you, me, and she correctly; Understand sentence and questions, Recognize letters and their sounds , Introduction to lower and uppercase letters
  • Listening

    Following directions, Understanding opposites, Understanding prepositions
  • Labeling

    Naming concrete objects, Memorizing and naming articles of clothing and objects in the environment
  • Self-Recognition

    Naming and identifying parts of the body, Recognizing first and last name, birthday and age, Developing a good self-image, Expressing feelings and emotions

    Recalling daily routines, Recognizing objects that are visually present, Identifying missing objects in given situations

    Getting along with other children. Learning the give and take of play, Understanding basic roles of individual people, Participating in group play, Understanding differences and similarities in people. Understanding the feeling of others

6:30am – 8:45am  Morning activities

8:45am –9:00am  Clean-up time

9:00am – 9:30am  Morning snack

9:30am – 10:30am  Outside play

10:30am – 11:30am Academics & Arts

11:30am – 12:30pm Lunch time

12:30pm – 2:30pm  Rest time

2:30pm -3:30pm  Wake-up & snack time

3:30pm – 4:30pm  Outside free play

4:30pm- 5:30pm  Inside activities

5:30pm to 6:00pm  Combine classes and story time
