El Segundo

My son has been going to La Marina for the past 2 years. The staff and teachers are attentive, positive and enthusiastic. My son has learned so much going here - so much so that when they saw that my son could be challenged even more in his 4 year old class, they bumped him up to the kindergarten class. He is thriving there, both educationally and socially. He is excited to go to school each day to learn, has many friends and the extra-curricular activities they schedule are wonderful.  I would highly recommend this school to any parent or child in the South Bay.

Another great / successful year comes to a close with El Segundo Preschool. We moved to EL Segundo because we wanted our kids in El Segundo School District. Little did we know that this day care center would live up to and exceed our expectations for "El Segundo standards." Our kids were taught manners and preparation for kindergarten. Their yearly plan is well thought out and they keep the kids active all year long. It's definitely a family environment where the kids care for their teachers and each other and their teachers truly care for them.

I love this school. I have comfort in knowing that the teachers at this school act as an extension of me when it comes to the love my son gets at the school. He actually wants to go to school which was definitely not the case at his old school. And did I mention he already knows how to write his name before he turned 3 and can spell several words.

Fantastic age-appropriate homework each week, fun field trips in the summer, and a friendly loving environment.  Two months into kindergarten he was reading!  My youngest has now been there 16 months and it's worked out wonderfully.  They've been able to give him the individual attention he needs, were able to deal with his eating difficulties and medicine administration, plus did everything else a great preschool should. Learning, fun, discipline - I so wish I had started my eldest son here originally.  The place isn't fancy, the equipment isn't brand new, but the employees are long-term, committed and they make the preschool wonderful.  I highly recommend it.
