At La Marina & North Torrance Before & After School Care we aim to provide a safe and caring atmosphere for your child. La Marina & North Torrance strives to provide a fun and stimulating environment where all the children are given equal opportunities through:

La Marina & North Torrance provides parents with access to a quality after school program giving assurance that the children are well cared for and engaging in positive activities.
Our Before and After School program opens at 6:30am each morning and closes at 6:00pm. We offer both drop-off and pick-up for students at Hermosa View Elementary in Hermosa Beach and Arlington Elementary in Torrance. Children are taken to the playground each morning until their teachers come for them and are picked up directly at their classroom. Children are not provided with breakfast; however, the staff will help children prepare breakfast. Please note breakfast is OVER at 7:30am. We provide healthy snacks in the afternoon. Every Friday is Treat Day and children will vote for treat of choice.
Afternoon activities include arts and crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, and much more; this includes 45 minutes to an hour dedicated for homework time. Our main objective in this program is to provide a loving, healthy, fun, creative and safe environment for your child. Our trained staff will provide an hour of homework assistance and various projects that are developmentally appropriate and fun. We follow a program where children learn, play, eat and do homework together regardless of race and religion.
